IRONBRIDGE GORGE MUSEUM
Biography
The Ironbridge that spans the River Severn in Shropshire, England, is an icon of the Industrial Revolution and British engineering. The 10 sites that make up the Ironbridge Gorge Museums are a celebration of Victorian industry and innovation, such as the Coalport China Museum and the Coalbrookdale Museum of Iron. Their collection of pictures similarly documents the achievements of that era, such as the building of the Ironbridge itself and the creation of the first ever Thames tunnel.
