MOORE, ROBERT
Biography
W. Robert Moore, born 1899 and died 1968, was a staff photographer and writer for National Geographic Magazine from 1930 into the 1950s. Most of his published work reportage was produced in foreign locations emerging from colonial rule, usually territories not very westernized, including Siam aka Thailand, Gilbert Islands, Abyssinia aka Ethiopia, Rhodesia aka Zimbabwe, Egypt, Libya, and Southeast Asia.
