Oglafa Ebitari Perrin was born in 1971 in Accra, Ghana. He received a BA in Fine and Applied Arts from the University of Port Harcourt and was also trained at the Otubo Gallery. His works have great ideas, simplicity, contrivance and boldness. He predominantly works in an abstract style, focusing on cultural dances and village scenarios. Through his work, he researches the signs and symbols of African art and the Niger Delta areas. As a member of the Nigeria Artists Society, Oglafa's works are often exhibited in the UK.
