The Traveller's Club, No. 106 Pall Mall, was founded in 1819 as a meeting place for gentlemen to discuss their adventures abroad. Members had to prove they had travelled 500 miles from London, a distance considered a great journey at the time. Following these far off travels and exotic explorations the club’s library now holds a treasure trove of volumes, illustrations and images from around the world.
