Located on Adelaide’s cultural boulevard, the Art Gallery of South Australia is home to one of Australia’s largest art museum collections. On view is a comprehensive survey of Australia’s art history, with a particularly strong emphasis on Aboriginal art, as well as many fine examples of work from both Europe and Asia. The collection brings together prints, paintings, photographs, sculptures, drawings, textiles, ceramics, glass, metalwork, jewellery, and furniture all housed in the magnificent interiors of the museum’s 19th century building.
