Bridgeman Artist

BEYRO, DIEGO

Biography

Diego Beyró is a self-taught artist whose practice has been shaped by international experience and creative entrepreneurship. From 2007 to 2009, he lived in Italy as part of the Fabrica art residency, the creative laboratory founded by Luciano Benetton and Oliviero Toscani. In Buenos Aires, he deepened his practice through a clinic with artist Andrés Waissman. He then spent nearly a decade in Mexico, where he founded an advertising production company. After walking the Camino de Santiago, he left advertising to focus on art, founding the gallery Casa Equis and the independent fair projects FAIN and Clavo. A second 800km pilgrimage marked a turning point, leading him to dedicate himself fully to his artistic career. Since late 2023, he has been based in Madrid, Spain. His work has been exhibited in solo and group shows across Italy, Spain, Portugal, Lebanon, Israel, the United States, Mexico, Chile, and Argentina.
