BOLTON, TIM SCOTT
Biography
Born in Shrophsire, UK, Tim Scott Bolton was educated in Bromsgrove and the College of Estate Management, London University. He painted part time under Ruskin Spear at the Hammersmith College of Art, worked in Kenya and exhibited at ten solo shows at the Malcolm Innes Gallery in London. He visited India and in 1993 opened the Summerleaze Gallery to hold art courses and exhibitions and started teaching in Burgundy at the Maison du Chateau in 1994. In 1998 he visited India and the Sultanate of Oman in 2000. In 2003 he exhibited at the Tryon gallery. Tim Scott Bolton’s work is held in many collections including Her Majesty the Queen’s, the National Trust and the private collection of Mrs J.Paul Getty, as well as many other collections.
