Richard worked as a darkroom assistant at Rapid Eye in London before helping Stephen Gill for 15 years. He has also done a stint packing books for the Archive of Modern Conflict. His past clients have included Alexander McQueen, Tom Hingston Studio, Neal's Yard Remedies, V&A Museum, London, and Citibank. His work is held in private collections in Logrono, Berlin and London. Publications include 'The Drawbridge', 'Stripes and Circles', 'Bridge: The Architecture of Connection' - Lucy Blakstad, 'It No.4 - Alphabet', and 'The Art of Barbie'.
