Biography
Carolyn Jenkins studied art and graphic design at St Martins School of Art in London and Bath Academy of Art. She works as an illustrator and gardener and now combines her two main passions to paint plants and flowers in watercolour. She studied for a diploma in Botanical Painting at the English Gardening School for which she was awarded ‘Distinction’ and ‘Best Student’ in 2011 and an exhibition entitled ‘The Anatomy of Flowers’ at the Royal Horticultural Society Botanical Art Show in London in March 2011 where she won Gold Medal and ‘Best Exhibit’. The RHS Lindley Library London and the Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation in Pittsburgh USA hold Carolyn’s paintings in their collections.
