NORWICH CASTLE MUSEUM & ART GALLERY
Biography
The Castle was converted to a museum in 1894. Behind the walls around the top of the mound are a multitude of interlinked buildings that hold the bulk of the displays. The complex is divided into 3 zones; Castle and Archaelogy zone, Natural History zone and the Art and Exhibitions zone. Within the Art zone are many art galleries, including several dedicated to the Norwich School of Painters, Ceramics and Glass collections.
