Patrick Morell is an accomplished cinematographer and documentary filmmaker recognized for his expansive global work on non-fiction media. Over three decades, he has traveled extensively across Greenland’s Arctic tundra, Southeast Asia (including India and Indonesia) China, the Middle East, Siberia, Europe, and the United States—capturing environmental and cultural narratives that illuminate pressing issues such as climate change and indigenous heritage. His credits span collaborations with production entities including National Geographic, HBO, Maysles Films, and Arte (France & Germany). From immersive long-form documentaries to short film portraits, Morell’s storytelling approach combines technical mastery with a unique capacity to uncover human resilience and the ever-evolving relationship between people and their lands. Through Golden Rabbit Films and previous production ventures, he continues to document untold stories, focusing on both visual artistry and ethical representation of diverse communities worldwide.
