Born in Wuppertal in 1963 and a Berlin resident since 1992, Ulrich Schwarz studied architecture and design at the Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste, before transferring his architectural expertise to his work as a photographer, with an impressive portfolio of photography undertaken for clients such as Kuehn Malvezzi, Atelier Kempe Thill, David Chipperfield, Deutsches Historisches Museum and the Klassik Stiftung Weimar.
