Biography
The Monastery of Klosterneuburg is situated a few kilometres up the Danube from Vienna. It was founded around 1100 and since 1133 it belongs to the order of the Augustine Canons. The museum holds an excellent collection of works of art, mainly gothic panel paintings, ivory carvings, Renaissance bronzes, and paintings from 19th and 20th centuries.
