Volf, Eva

Biography

As seen in American Art Collector and Vogue Magazines. “Eva’s work immerses one in the primal waters of the sea where life began. You cannot help but to be drawn into the visions she creates with her marvelous seascapes; gentle, yet at the same time powerful.” (L. Putz). Eva Volf is a fine artist based in Cleveland, who is best known for peaceful atmospheric seascapes. Her love of the Ocean flows deeply from childhood memories, renewed with every breaking wave and cleansing salty splash. Inspired by the majesty of the seas and beaches of the world, she channels her emotions of tranquility and fulfillment to the viewer through oil on canvas. Conceptualized at the source, each seascape is sketched at the beach to capture the vision before completion in the studio. Volf is an exhibiting member of Artists’ Archives of the Western Reserve and Oil Painters of America. Her paintings have been in various exhibitions, including eight one-woman shows. Her art has won awards, including a number of First Places and Best of Shows. Eva’s work has been featured in American Art Collector, Vogue and Photo Book Magazines, “Artists at Work”, a Cable 9 TV Show, Fox 8 News, Fox 8 Morning Show “Kickin’ it with Kenny”, WKYC News, NPR Ideastream, News Herald, and other news outlets.
