Biography
Sophie Charalambous is a Visual Artist and Designer. She combines her own practice with working collaboratively in the theatre and leading arts projects with community groups. She teaches drawing and painting at the Prince’s Drawing School and Mary Ward Centre and regularly collaborates with the British Museum creating and delivering events and workshops which respond to the changing exhibitions. In her own practice she explores, through drawing, the theatricality of every day places, re-imagining them with a heightened sense of reality and detail. She works from observation and memory using a variety of materials. Sophie lives and works in London.
