From the vibrant 1950s to the 1970s, Marcel Dole (1925-1993) worked as still photographer on iconic French films such as Pierre Granier-Deferre's gritty masterpiece 'La Horse,' Jean Girault's uproarious 'Le Gendarme de Saint-Tropez,' and Etienne Périer's suspenseful 'Meurtre en 45 tours.' With each click of his camera, Dolé etched his name into the chronicles of cinema, immortalising stories one frame at a time.
