Vincent Rossell (1924-2009) was an acclaimed set photographer who captured scenes from some of the most famous and well-regarded movies of the mid-20th Century, notably Louis Malle's 'Ascenseur pour l'échafaud' (Elevator to the Gallows) and 'Les amants' (The Lovers) as well as later movies including 'Le professionel' (The Professional) starring Jean-Paul Belmondo.
